Our home flying field in St Louis Missouri

Conveniently located at Highway 44 and 141 St Louis County parks has provided a place open to the public for the sport of model aviation. Certain rules do apply, and a special permit is required. We can supply you with the right documents and information to get you started. When learning public flying there are certain protocols and procedures that must be adhered to. We follow all the safety rules and guidelines set forth from the National Aircraft Safety Code The Greater St Louis Modeling Association, and St Louis County Parks. Any variance from these rules can subject to you being fined and can forfeit your rights to fly at Buder Park.

The 2013 GSLMA Flying Extravaganza is coming this September to Buder Park !

The September 2012 airshow was a huge success and we got to help over 200 individuals get their first hands on experience flying an R/C plane!

October 4th we did a flying demonstration for the Cub Scouts at St John's UCC

The St Louis Science Center invited our club to demonstrate their airplanes at the Planetarium on Saturday March 9th

The Omnimax Theater at the Science Center is showing the movie 'Air Racers' during the month of March in St Louis

The Signal Chasers and Aeropilots fun fly will be held in Pacific Missouri June 2nd 2013

A Float Plane contest will be held at Horseshoe Lake in Illinois June 8th Sponsored by The East side Flying Club

A Field trip is planned to the Aviation Museum in Creve Coeur Missouri for Summer 2013

We meet once a month at 6:30 PM on the third Wednesday of the month at Youngs Ice Cream in Valley Park, just a few minutes north of where we fly. Their address is...206 Meramec Station Rd Valley Park, MO 63088-1509   You are very welcome to attend with us!

Our annual dues is $30 per year. Attend a meeting with us, and ask to join after you've enjoyed your visits. Payments for 2013 dues now being accepted. Meet with us, fly with us. You will enjoy the friendly comradeship of each R/C hobbiest in our group.
